Welcome to the Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies and congratulations on exploring a professionally and personally gratifying course of study! Through our programmes you will develop extensive knowledge about Islam in its various manifestations enabling you to keep up with its dynamic nature in theory and practice. You will be able to perceive and comprehend various trends related to the discipline, and become adept at taking clear and legitimate positions. You will also learn to apply research techniques, explore different sources of information, and critically assess developments in the field of Islamic Studies. Each programme has been designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills increasingly demanded in today's economy and society, in addition to promoting positive interaction with other religions and societies.

Master Programmes
- Master of Arts in Islamic Studies with a Specialization in Contemporary Fiqh( only for shariah and Islamic studies graduates) (Commenced February 2008)
- Master of Arts in Public Policy in Islam (Commenced February 2008)
- Master of Science in Islamic Finance (Commenced September 2008)
